Dancing Flowers
In the flower fields of Carlsbad, California acres of paper flowers dance through the season. Giant Techolte Ranunculus flowers delight the eyes from March to May. The flowers literally dance left to right with the Southern California breeze. At the end of the season each dancing flower will be cultivated for its bulb to be sold to Holland. This acrylic painting is a simple reminder of the bounty and agricultural wealth in California.
